Hi my name is Gemma, I started Pinchaninch bootcamp at the start of January 2012 and weighed around 16 stone. I’d tried loads of fad diets, exercise dvds etc but nothing ever lasted longer than a week. Id always thought about bootcamps but I just never had the confidence to actually go to one. I was so unhappy with myself and knew i had to change – something just clicked in my head and i have never looked back! I googled ‘Sunderland Bootcamps’ and Darren’s was the first one the came up, so i thought i’d give it a go. So i turned up for bootcamp, on the coldest, wettest, muddiest, darkest night ever and i was instantly addicted (even though i couldnt move for 3 days after). I started going as often as i could and soon the weight started to drop off. Of course i was watching what i ate and cut all the rubbish out. I felt happier, became fitter and my body was changing massively. I was so pleased with myself that i had the confidence to go as it was such a big thing for me. Darren put me at ease and i never once felt uncomfortable. Bootcamp really made me carry on and helped me concentrate on my weight loss. So i decided to do the 28 Day challenge in June 2012 as i felt i needed educating on the food side of things. In 28 days i lost another 12lb and i learnt A LOT. It’s now August 2012 and i weigh just over 11 stone. I am the happiest i have ever been for years and i now have the confidence to go out and do things where before i didnt’ I go up to 5 sessions per week and love it! i am completely addicted, it’s so much fun, never do the same thing! I have met a great bunch of friends. It is the best thing i have ever done and would recommend it to anyone. Thanks Pinchaninch, changed my life! x
